Yellow Browed Warbler
Despite the excitement of Monday's Little Bunting find the weather forecast for Tuesday meant I stayed in bed for a few hours longer after the alarm went off. The rain was forecast to go off across in Crail sometime between 1000 and 1100 so I decided to head back there to see if there was anything else around. Instead of taking Monday's route up towards Wormiston I decided to head straight out to Kilminning. The Yellow Browed Warbler was seen near the airfield entrance and at the top end of Kilminning there were some Song Thrushes and some newly arriving Mistle Thrushes with Swallow, Skylark and Meadow Pipits passing overhead.

Continuing down to the bottom end I found a few birders around but all looking in the wrong place for the Little Bunting, which unsurprisingly hadn't been seen that morning. I spent the rest of the day chatting mostly to Fiona McLean but also Sam Taylor, Willie Irvine and a few others but there was little to be seen other than fly-overs though Willie did see a possible Barred Warbler and a Garden Warbler was heard. A Yellow Wagtail was a nice surprise. The day eventually turned rather misty and then drizzly around mid-afternoon so I headed for home on the 1625 bus.
