0863 : Sunday Supplement (16/5/21)

On Sunday the 16th of May I had a nice wee run of really good photo opportunities - firstly by the Dighty Burn with a trio of Dippers, then up at Den O' Mains Ponds in Caird Park with the resident and relatively tame Grey Heron, followed by close views of a Coot family and a Mute Swan family at Swannie Ponds. I took 100s of photos, most of which turned out rather well and with the exception of those already posted on the previous blog-post these would ordinarily be doomed to languish unseen on the external hard drive where I store my photos. However, I think a lot of these photos (and this isn't actually them all!) deserve some sort of an audience so I'd rather they were seen and hopefully enjoyed, so here they are....

Dippers first....

Then the Grey Heron in Caird Park next....

Then up to Swannie Ponds where this Coot family showed really well....

and finally, the Mute Swan family....

Unfortunately, Blogger makes it really difficult and very time-consuming to do a post of this sort as there is no option to set a default photo size which means to get them to display this size (extra-large) I either need to resize them before I upload them all, or I have to individually resize each photo within the Blogger editing process. So, there won't be too many of these posts unless I have a lot of time available, but I hope you enjoy this one anyway. Thanks for looking......
